PASTORAL CARE

We have a group of Lay Visitors who enjoy visiting our parishioners each month. We also have a team of Eucharistic Ministers who share the Eucharist in Nursing and family homes weekly.

The Rector visits an average of ten parishioners per week . Pastoral Care is a priority at Epiphany Church. Please call us if you would enjoy a visit from your Rector.

COFFEE HOUR FELLOWSHIP

Whether it be coffee, tea, cookies or sandwiches—each week after our 10:30 am service we join as a family for fellowship. Please feel welcome to join your fellow parishioners and build connections!

Our wonderful volunteers who assist with preparing this time are on a rotating schedule and commit to one Sunday every few months to help. If you are interested in volun‐teering your time to help set up/clean up and serve coffee
and snacks, please contact Laura in the Church Office to see when and how you can help.

CHILDREN`S MINISTRY

Located in the corridor leading to the Parish Hall, our Nursery provides a safe, cheerful and fun environment for parents to take babies/young children during the service if they choose. If you are the parent or guardian of an infant or young child, please be sure to visit.

You are welcome to use this room to feed your child, lay them down or simply play around as you feel comfortable. If you are interested in volunteering occasionally on Sunday mornings, we’d be happy to have you! Please speak with Laura in the office for more information on how you can help.

The JC Club is a Junior Church Club consisting of children of all ages. Any child that wants to come is welcome anytime! We gather together to learn about the Bible. The theme of each week’s activities is usually geared towards the weekly readings.

We have snacks, a drink and always a craft! The fun part: the prize bucket! If you would like more information on sending your child to take part in the JC Club or how to help within this program please do not hesitate to contact.

MUSIC MINISTRY

The Church of the Epiphany is blessed with an able and enthusiastic adult choir which sings a wide variety of anthems most weeks from September to June. Our choir presents everything from greatly loved traditional anthems of the church to the best in contemporary selections to reach the heats and minds of our worshippers.

Also, for a numbers of years the choir has presented annual concerts which have either served as fundraisers for church causes, for needs in the wider community, or for specific liturgical observances. Past concerts have featured everything from Faure’s “requiem” to presentations of classic anthems.

Our beautiful worship space is enhanced by a large, historic pipe organ which serves as a catalyst to attract many outside groups and further enhances Epiphany’s reputation as a prominent concert venue in the greater Woodstock area. Future plans for this ministry include the further development of a blended music ministry which combines the best of our past rich traditions with contemporary presentations which respond to the ever changing needs of the world around us.
